About the guide
How we research our guides
Our guides link the evidence behind the facts and distinguish it from our opinion. Here is how to read the sources, check dates and credits, and request a correction.

Start with the organisation responsible
We are Does Your Duck Quack, the operator of Off to the Rugby. Our guides help supporters choose a ground, understand the journey and make a rugby weekend work. We research each page from the sources linked on it, using AI tools to help draft and organise, and check facts against those sources before publishing. The links let you follow the information back to its origin and judge whether it answers your own question.
For stadium information, our first choice is the venue or the club that plays there. For train stations, tram services and walking routes, we look for the transport operator or the venue’s published directions. Competition organisers and national unions are the starting point for fixtures and ticket announcements. A published schedule is more useful than an assumption based on last season’s calendar.
You can see this approach in the Twickenham guide and the Six Nations 2027 planning page. Their source links sit alongside the relevant subject, so you can distinguish stadium advice from the organisation responsible for selling a particular match ticket.

What Confirmed and Reported mean
Confirmed means that the claim is supported by an official or primary source. That might be a stadium’s access guide, a club announcement, a transport operator’s station page or the competition’s fixture list. The label describes the kind of evidence behind the statement. It is tied to the source and the date shown with that section.
Reported means that the information comes from a named, credible publication rather than the organisation directly responsible. We name the outlet and link its relevant page. Where a section uses both kinds of evidence, its source line distinguishes Confirmed material from Reported material. A newspaper report does not become an official announcement merely because its wording is confident.
Our advice and Our pick identify opinion. A suggested stand, walking approach or overnight base is a judgement about how to enjoy a visit. It belongs beside the facts that inform it, with its status as opinion clear. We do not invent personal visits, conversations with staff or professional credentials to make a recommendation sound more authoritative.

Read the date beside the information
Each data section carries a source line with the date the information was checked. Use that date when weighing details that can change, including ticket arrangements, transport services and stadium access. The date belongs to the linked information in that section; a newer addition elsewhere on the page does not turn an older check into a new one.
The page’s Updated date serves a different purpose: it identifies a content change. Rebuilding the website or changing an affiliate identifier does not itself mean that the stadium information has been checked again. We keep the distinction visible because a travel decision deserves more context than a single date at the top of a long guide.
When a source does not provide a usable answer, our rule is to leave the unsupported detail out. We do not calculate an official walking time from a map, turn an old ticket price into a current one, or guess a future fixture venue. For a booking decision, use the linked organiser’s latest information as well as our guide.

Help us correct an error
Please use the Corrections page if something looks wrong. Send the page address, the detail you believe needs changing and a supporting source where possible. A direct link to a club notice, station update or revised fixture list is particularly helpful because it identifies the change precisely.
We consider the source, correct supported errors and update the content date when the guide changes. The privacy notice explains how information supplied with an enquiry is handled. Please include only the personal information needed to explain the issue.

Photographs, illustrations and funding
Our photographs have visible credits identifying their subjects, creators, licences and original source pages. The Photo credits directory brings those details together. A caption marked cropped tells you that the displayed composition differs from the source image. Follow the licence link for the terms attached to that particular photograph.
Original artwork and illustrated stadium scenes are labelled Illustration. Our seating schematics show supported stand names and relationships; their captions explain that they are not to scale. They help you read the guide alongside the venue’s own information when choosing a seat.
The site contains accommodation affiliate links. Their nearby disclosure and our Disclosure page explain the funding arrangement. Source links serve a separate purpose: they show where the factual information came from. You can read the evidence, compare grounds and send a correction without using an accommodation link.
